Having the opportunity to spend new years at Columbus Isle was priceless. When I arrived to the Club Med I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The beach was spectacular and there was nothing negative about my arrival, it was simply perfect. One of the main reasons why we decided to spend part of our vacations in San Salvador island, was due to the availability of Scuba Diving in such a marvelous turquoise ocean. Since the opportunity of doing such an adventurous and unique activity was given I decided to do a MINI independent project, all about SCUBA DIVING. The whole idea of doing scuba diving was to enjoy a completely different environment where you have no control against the species that surround you. However, because each creature underwater was so marvelous I decided to take underwater images, which was quite a challenge, using the pictures to create an album of Scuba Diving at Columbus Isle. |
As the boat speeded up to get to our destination I started feeling nerves. I knew that going from the pool to the ocean was a completely different feeling, and I was so scared about it. I knew that once in the water I could do nothing regarding my safety. In other words I had no control against the animals that surrounded us, and truly, sharks where very scary. Yet, when I got to the water, I was amazed. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, everything was so perfect, clean, beautiful, and full of colors.
