"WE ARE TAUGHT FROM A YOUNG AGE THAT ONE SHOULD NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER. BUT WE MUST; IT IS OFTEN ALL WE GET TO SEE."Normally, we expect to get all the information needed in order to make a decision; however, most of the times you never have access to all that actually exists. Now a days, there is lack of information in every sense. In other words, DECISIONS are based in statistical research or stereotypes.
It's true, at the end everyone seems affected, you didn't get the job and the company has no idea behind the truth of the other candidate. It's annoying how insufficiency of information is redundant in this world and nobody does nothing about it. Many people have no idea behind their actions; lamentably not everyone cares about it. Truthfully, it would change the world if everyone knew the disadvantages and advantages of what they did, and the only way to solve this issue is to demonstrate that even if it can be a win-win situation, it can flip around and be the opposite.
Being open to different ideas even if you "think" you have your final choice, is the best way to learn. One of the best methods to come up with other options is by having conversations with other people; the rumor is true, TWO BRAINS WORK BETTER THAN ONE. In order to finalize our idea for the documentary, we had the role to become interviewers and ask as many people as we could questions about $ PERUVIAN ECONOMICS $. The problem is that many people have very little knowledge about economics in general. Mainly, this happens because if you ask someone a question related to economics they FREAK OUT and quickly answer that they have no idea how MONEY works in the country. The truth is, that everyone thinks in one immediate word when mentioning economics: MONEY. MONEY. MONEY. However, economics relates to many issues that Peru is encountering, and that was the whole idea behind the interview, create other possible topics for our films, based on the little or big knowledge from peruvian citizens.
B E I N G S E L E C T I V E Furthermore, we had a deep discussion after sharing ideas from the interviews. Other students received different information, and by the hodgepodge of all our ideas we came up with some possible topics for the documentaries. Adding up, being selective and able to identify better ideas than others was really important. At first, it was hard to find the precise piece of information that would give you a final idea for a topic, but after minutes of reflection and interchanging of ideas, topics where developed. This was not only useful because we had a variety of topics to chose upon, but also, because the process was based in critical thinking and begin reflective in terms of important information that had to be included.

I D E A S F O R M Y D O C U M E N T A R Y
Basically, this was my main question, but after a quick discussion I came up with some detailed ideas to compliment my bigger thought.
In order to create the film, I need to organize myself extremely well, and that requires hard work and planning. I'm trying to figure out if I could actually go to Huaraz and contact specifically a small community that has an informal government, therefore informal economy.
In order to create a solid plan, you need to complete three important steps: WHY, HOW, WHAT. At this time of the IP I'm focusing specifically in how I will be completing the IP, in other words, the plan. Why?
How? 1. Research about projects that have been successful and the planning behind them
2. Create a list of the materials needed
3. Contact other schools around Lima
4. Keep on networking with Brasil
5. Establish a clear process of how to set up the project
6. Create a campaigning video (marketing)
7. Do another Shoe Drive
What? Create a booklet with instructions so that other people can start Share a Pair in other countries or in Peru without my help. I want to make the booklet very detailed and easy to follow. Not only include infromation but make it visual and entertaining. I want this to be successful. The booklet will need to include:
Learning Outcomes
Throughout the documentary, "The Inside Job" all my thoughts have been wrapped up by one shocking idea. Truly, I've been sickened by how the world works by extrinsic incentives. Why would you do something if you know that the result will affect not only yourself but the whole nation? There's no better explanation than a powerful term, MONEY. I constantly ask myself: what makes all of these economists, companies, and banks enter into such risky contracts?
the world works, are the only ones who caused the world's major crisis. The worst part is that they actually know what they are doing, but they DON'T care. They are not worried about people, the country, or the world; they are so SELF-CENTERED, it's annoying. In fact, they are not even affected by what they do, because at the end the money returns to them. For instance, when they buy any CDO's, which result to be a failure, they've already allied themselves with insurance companies, so at the end if they lose, the insurance company needs to pay them back anyways. THEY AFFECT EVERYONE BY WHAT THEY DO, BUT THEY ALWAYS STAY SAFE; they are so dangerously intelligent.
T H E I N S I D E J O B
$ The process of SECURITIZATION is dangerously intelligent $ Home Buyer ----> Lenders ----> Investment Banks ----> Investors
$ After understanding this whole system, I was impressed by how powerful companies, and ones who new about economics, where one of the main causers of the 2008 crash. In fact, the government had lots of involvement with banks, and even if they new the truth behind everyones money, they did nothing. After this economic crash, it's clear that the world and peoples mentalities work by incentives, and there nothing that can stop it.
C A N M O N E Y B U Y H A P P I N E S S ? "We often hear it, but how true is the phrase 'Money can't buy happiness'? Is there a correlation between the two, and if so, what can we learn from it? It turns out, if you think money and happiness are exclusive, you simply aren't spending it right." $ Many people do believe that money buy's happiness, but it is not completely true. Money can cause happiness when you are spending it in experiences and not in material things. Yet, money vs. happiness is still a concept that everyone interprets in a different way. $ "If you spent fourteen minutes talking to an economist you would have wasted twelve minutes" Naked Economics People's thoughts are surrounded by the idea that economics is for those who are good with numbers but do not have the personality to be accountants; well, we are PLAYING THE GAME WRONG. This entire concept of money does not define economics. Yes, economics is one of the main reasons why the world works the way it does, but I bet that every little thing that you walk by is also related to it as well.
This topic was extremely interesting, and it made all of my thoughts make sense. Now that I understand perfectly one of the most fundamental concepts of economics, it encourages me to keep on investigating about the topic; this makes me content.
