There are many documentaries available around the world, and probably they all connect to different themes and touch different environmental, social, creative, or informative aspects. But now, it was time for me to decide what question to answer in a 15-minute documentary; however, I had to select an idea that was related to both economic and government within Peru. After a couple hours of reflection I narrowed some of my ideas to one specific focus. I had several thoughts about how economics was being affected either positively or negative by education, gender, gastronomy or presidential governments over years. But this ideas did not fully convince me, until I thought about one topic that was not only related to economics and government, but it was also connected to my independent project, the shoe drive at Huaraz. |

It would be powerful to show as part of my film the life of the major, or a person from the community to identify how there life works, and what are their opinions about the government. I would appreciate if I could directly talk to someone that has connection to a larger government, and see how they are helping the community over time to improve their economic situation. Furthermore, I believe that my topic has a lot of potential because it not only raises awareness about the fact that the government should help this communities for a faster development and better economy, but it's also something that will add value. Moreover, I'm excited about the documentary and I can't wait to start. In fact, this is an original idea and I hope it will have a positive impact in our community. I would love to produce an engaging and powerful film that will impact the whole country. |
