| After doing lots of research I finally narrowed down my choices. It was really hard to select a specific university with such a variety of options you can choose upon now a days. After analyzing each college in depth, the program they offered, the tuition, their campus and the university itself, I noticed a really important point. Many people think that selecting a college is easy, yet they are completely wrong. You might think that there is a college out there that seems perfect for you, just because it has a prestigious name, but there are a lot of attributes that should be researched before even deciding. Along the process of investigation, I got to understand several important points about college which I had no idea what they meant; that definitively allowed me to have a better knowledge once I decided my final choices. At first, before selecting a university I chose a career, and based on my selection I looked up for some of the best colleges and the most innovative programs. However, as I kept on looking for other options there was one specific university |
that called my attention before selecting a career:
BABSON . Not even knowing what careers they offered, I found BABSON an impressive college. I was amazed by their programs, opportunities, diversity, campus, and the organization itself. Some highlights about this college were: Students from more than 60 countries around the world | "NEED BLIND" admission process. Applying for financial aid does not affect your chances of getting in. | "Activities that take place on campus are initiated and designed by students providing an immediate opportunity to apply and practice entrepreneurial leadership" | Competitions: "Marketing Case Competition: $5,000 in total prizes is on the line at this annual event, hosted by the Babson Marketing Club. Students apply entrepreneurial thinking to solve current marketing challenges faced by the event’s sponsoring company. " | "Students discover their strengths, pursue their passions, and create their own path to success". |
After investigating the university itself I went over the careers they offered, and I found both impressive and rigorous their Entrepreneurship program. Entrepreneurship is an interesting career, and one of BABSON'S best known programs. After stumbling upon the internet I found out that this specific career would be better as a minor, taking business or other related career as a major. Yet, with such an innovative program I still consider the option of working out careers to study at this specific university. The chance of investigating so many programs around the world has opened my eyes to a much larger view of what LIFE is; I'm proud of it. I'm still trying to find the PERFECT program (considering price, acceptance rate, SAT scores, campus, student life, diversity, activities) or in other words, MY PERFECT FIT. |
