David Fischman came to our class today, he gave a great talk. We were able to discuss many questions we had about the book "The Secret of the Seven Seeds" which was really interesting. We actually discovered that David Fischman was Ignacio, the ma character, and that he had lived many of this experiences. Basically one of the purposes as to why he wrote the book was because of a trauma he had when he was born. It was amazing how the entire book was related to his life, and how through meditation as he mentions a lot in the book has shaped him into another person.
He also mentioned a really important term, the 7 intrinsic needs (motivates you when you do an activity/satisfaction):
David explained how he balanced his time, which was admirable. He currently works at home so he is able to see his children when they come back from school, and since he loves what he does he is able to serve, love, and work at the same time. It is amazing how he believes in what he does, and the way he has changed after reflecting on his actions and writing books.
We had the opportunity to meditate with David Fischman. I got to feel out of this world and honestly concentrate in nothing. I learned that meditation is a great tool to relax and to see clarity, because you only think in great things. When you meditate it is really important that you welcome with amiability any thought because that will allow you to see NOTHING.
It is incredible how someone can change though a simple act, and how meditation helps you to focus in one thing and don't think in your surroundings. I consider David to be an extremely WISE man because he not only thinks in himself but in the benefits his work has on others. It's amazing how noticeable a change can be in your life, such as David's personality and emotions did after meditating and reflecting in his actions.

- competence (talents/ passions)
- relatedness (feel connected)
- learning
- innovation
- fun
- transcendence (do something worth remembering)
